Firestation and Youth Center, Asse, Belgium

The town of Asse announced two competitions, one for the design of a regional fire station, the other for a youth center. ORG’s winning entry proposed to aggregate the programs linearly and between them to create an enclosed civic space, a ‘public room’. This is a new template for a suburban development spine, which will continue to grow.
Construction was finished mid 2014 (Fire Station, Youth Center, Landscaping + Interior and Exterior)
Team: TV C20-ORG
Consultants: Grontmij (structural, mechanical), Venac (acoustics)
Contractor: Franki Construct
